Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 24, 2026
This policy explains how JNAT Enterprises handles personal information when you visit our public website, request a site survey or quotation, contact us by email, telephone, or Facebook Messenger, or continue into a customer relationship with us.
Who we are and what this policy covers
JNAT Enterprises provides engineering, safety, security, energy, information and communications technology, and building-system solutions. In this policy, “JNAT,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to JNAT Enterprises.
This policy covers the public JNAT website, public inquiry and site-survey forms, direct customer inquiries, Facebook Messenger customer support, and customer-facing records created from those interactions.
Separate privacy notices or internal policies may apply to employees, job applicants, suppliers, authenticated system users, and records created through JNAT’s internal business operations. This public policy does not replace those notices.
Information you provide through our website or directly
When you request a site survey, quotation, consultation, or follow-up, we may receive the information you enter, including your name, company, email address, phone number, location, service interest, and message. If you contact us by email or telephone, we also receive the information you choose to provide during that inquiry. We use these details to understand your request and coordinate a response.
Information used in a business relationship
If an inquiry becomes a lead, quotation, order, or customer relationship, JNAT may keep the relevant contact details, business correspondence, requested or quoted products and services, transaction records, and delivery, warranty, or after-sales information needed to serve the customer and maintain business records.
Information we receive through Messenger
When you communicate with the JNAT Enterprises Facebook Page through Messenger, Meta may provide us with information needed to receive and manage the conversation, including:
- your Page-scoped Messenger identifier;
- your name and profile photo, when Meta makes them available to the Page;
- the text of messages and replies, postback activity, and the type of any attachment you send (the CRM message record does not store the attachment file or its URL);
- message timestamps and delivery or read events; and
- technical information used to validate, secure, troubleshoot, and prevent duplicate webhook processing.
Our customer-support system may also record conversation status, assigned staff member, internal support notes, and any lead or customer record that an authorized staff member deliberately creates from the conversation. We do not receive your Facebook password.
Website, cookies, and technical information
When you use our website, our hosting, security, and application systems may process technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, request timestamps, and strictly necessary session or security data. The site uses a necessary session cookie and security state to support forms and protect requests. This information supports website delivery, form security, troubleshooting, and protection against misuse.
How we use the information
We use this information to:
- receive, evaluate, and respond to your inquiry or site-survey request;
- assign a conversation to authorized JNAT staff and manage human handoff;
- maintain conversation history and customer-service continuity;
- prepare a quotation, coordinate a consultation, fulfil a customer request, or create a business lead or customer-service follow-up when appropriate;
- protect the service, verify webhook requests, investigate errors, and prevent duplicate processing; and
- meet applicable legal and operational obligations.
Basis and method of processing
We process the information needed to respond to steps you request, such as asking about a product, service, quotation, or site survey, and for JNAT’s legitimate interests in operating secure and effective customer service. We may also process information to comply with a legal obligation or, where required, with your consent.
For Messenger inquiries, Meta sends Page events to JNAT through an authenticated webhook. The system automatically validates the request, prevents duplicate processing, creates or updates the conversation record, and records delivery or read status when Meta provides it. The integration does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you solely through automated processing.
How information is shared
Inquiry information is available to authorized JNAT personnel who need it to provide customer service. It may also be processed by infrastructure or technical service providers that host or support JNAT’s systems and, for Messenger interactions, by Meta as the messaging platform. These providers may process information in countries outside the Philippines. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect legal rights, safety, and system security.
Retention
Retention depends on the type and status of the inquiry or transaction and on applicable operational and legal requirements. Inquiry and conversation records are kept while a request or related customer-service follow-up is active, and closed or transactional records may be retained while reasonably needed for business continuity, security, dispute handling, the establishment or defense of legal claims, and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Messenger diagnostic records are limited to operational details and pseudonymized identifiers and are rotated as the diagnostic file reaches its configured size limit.
Your choices and data deletion
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about the processing, access or correct your personal data, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent where consent is the basis, and request deletion or data portability where applicable. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
For a privacy or deletion request, email jat@jnat-enterprises.com with the subject Privacy or Data Deletion Request. Include enough information to identify the relevant inquiry, conversation, quotation, order, or customer record, but do not send a password, access token, payment credential, or other secret.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Valid requests will be reviewed and handled in accordance with applicable law. If information must be retained for a legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reason, we will limit further processing and explain the applicable reason when required.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect the information we process. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Facebook Messenger
JNAT uses the JNAT Enterprises Facebook Page and a JNAT-managed Meta app to receive and respond to Messenger inquiries in its customer-support system. Your use of Facebook and Messenger is also governed by Meta’s own terms and privacy practices. You can review the Meta Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices, technology, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect.
